The new skittish EP will be released on 4/25/2025. On this record, I rediscovered my love for loudly, and sloppily, banging on an electric guitar. Perhaps it was pent up energy from too many years spent in shitty little apartments, whisper singing to myself and finger picking an acoustic guitar. Perhaps its one more flail in the dark, hoping to grab what made me love music in the first place. Whatever the reason, I dug out my Tele from my college rock days, festooned with angsty poetry applied by an old label maker, and strapped it on. I then waited for the studio’s office park to empty, around midnight on weekends. Stood in the bay window overlooking a bustling Ventura blvd, where a freeway ran through Tom Petty’s yard, I kerranged my way through 5 new songs. Thrashing and howling my way into morning, and having an absolute blast. That is what I will remember most about this EP. On April 25^th, you can hear what I came up with.
